Access to Chivita Bagnoregio

A "permanent city" "Civita di Bagnoregio" suddenly appears about a 30-minute walk from Bagnoregio in Viterbo, Lazio. Write about access to this small charming city, not yet known in Japan

Route to Civita

Access to Civita is・・・

 step1:To staion Orvieto by train
step2: From Orvieto sta to Bagnoregio by bus
（Travel time is about 1 hour, fare is about 3 €）
step3:From Bagnoregio to Chivita on foot（About 30 minutes on foot）

This is a main route to Chivita

I think there are people who feel uneasy about access in the name of the place you can not hear very much.But・・・

 The point of access to Civita is the bus between Orvieto and Bagnoregio!

The number of cotral buses used here is small, and it will be difficult if you do not check in advance.
Let's firmly hold the bus time, the platform, and how to buy tickets well in advance.

Head to Orvieto Station by train

By train, head to Orvieto Station.

Take a bus from Orvieto Station

Since the timetable of the cotoral bus changes frequently and the departure time is also biased, we recommend that you check in advance

Tickets can be purchased at the cafe bar adjacent to the station. (A bar out of the station and adjacent to the right)
(Because you can also buy directly from the bus driver, it doesn't matter if you don't know the location of the ticket office, but it's worth as much as 1 €).
It is safe to buy a round-trip ticket at Orvieto Station as Bagnoregio may not have a ticket office.
When you get on the bus, be sure to keep your ticket imprinted.

Once you get on this, you will be in the bus for about an hour and you will arrive at Bagnoregio. On the way, you will go through the city called "Lubiano / Lubiano", but you do not get in by mistake here.

Walk from Bagnoregio to Civita

At Bagnoregio, you will be taken off at the big parking lot like the picture below.
After getting off, walk to climb in the direction of the arrow.

Follow the road and you will see Chivita (about 30 minutes by 2 km). You can walk through the observatory on the way.The view from here is the best, so it is strongly recommended to walk.
If you don't like walking, please check the minibus from the city to the Bagnoregio-Civita entrance.
